  1. At what age does my child have to be to attend the camps?
    It starts at Age 7 for Day Camps and Age 8 for Overnight Camps.
  2. If my child is younger than the required age, can he/she still attend camp?
    A student who is not 7 (day camp) or 8 (overnight camp) years of age could attend with our permission. Please call office for enrollment permission @ 469 264 7904
  3. What are the hours of the camp? See Sample Camp Schedule
    DAY CAMP HOURS: 8:30 am until 3:30 pm, Monday – Thursday and ends with an Award Ceremony at 3:00 pm on Thursday. We will have someone at the site as early as 7:30 and as late as 4:30 for drop off / pickup.
    Check-in and Walkup registration begins at 7:30 a.m.
    OVERNIGHT CAMPS: Check-in and Walkup registration begins at 1:45 pm on Sunday. Commuter students will need to check in at 2:30 pm. The close of camp ends with an Award Ceremony at 3:30 pm on Thursday.
  4. How do I register for camp?
    On-line registration by debit or credit card from our website with your deposit or full payment. Call 469 264 7904 if you are experincing problems with registration.
  5. Do I need to obtain a physical from my child’s doctor?
    A physical from the doctor is not required unless they are being released from a previous injury.
  6. How will I know if my child is registered for camp?
    Once we receive your child’s registration and payment, you will receive an eConfirmation Letter with camp details. If you have not received confirmation within a week of submitting application and payment, please call our office @ 469 264 7904.
  7. How do I cancel my enrollment?
    You must email the office with a request to cancel. Please include camper’s name, and camp location. Please remember that a cancellation fee will be charged as follows:
  • 30 days before camp you will forfeit deposit amount of $50 day or $100 overnight
  • 14-29 days before camp you will forfeit $100 day or $200 overnight
  • 1-13 days before camp you will forfeit $150 day or $300 overnight
  •  Your camp enrollment can be transferred to another camper or a scholarship camper within the same year.
  1. How are the students grouped at camp?
    Students are grouped according to their age and grade when they come to camp, and then they are evaluated and regrouped according to their ability, basketball IQ, and maturity.
  2. Will the boys and girls be grouped together? Will they compete against each other?
    Only the very youngest campers are mixed if the group is incomplete (ex: 4 eight year boys and 4 eight year old girls). Students older than 10 are not normally mixed and do not compete against one another.
  3. What kind of activities will be conducted?
    We are primarily an Offensive Instruction Camp so the drills emphasize shooting and one on one in progression from basic to advance, as well as ball handling, dribbling, passing, and much more.
  4. What is the ratio of coaches to students?
    A ratio of 1 coach to every 12 to 15 players.
  5. Is this a team camp?
    We are not a team camp but teams can attend. We are an instructional camp for offensive skills; the shooting game and the one on one game. This camp will elevate an individual’s game immensely which will then elevate the team’s power and thus, the potential to lift a school’s program. Teams who attend are given the opportunity to play as a team.
  6. Is this a Christian Camp?
    Yes. We conduct our camps in a Christian environment and everything that we do is based on scripture and the truth in Jesus Christ. We are non denominational and we do not promote any particular doctrine or church. Everything that we do spiritually is in a non-threatening manner. We open each morning with an inspiration (based on illustrations of life experiences) and close each evening with devotions.
  7. Can parents observe the camp?
    Yes. Parents, coaches, and/or friends are welcome to observe all camp sessions.
  8. Who is allowed to work our Camp?
    Our Leadership staff is comprised of coaches who have been in our program for many years and have an in-depth understanding of what we strive to accomplish. Other coaching positions are filled by area coaches who are professional coaches who coach/teach for a living as well as college players. We also have demonstrators who are former campers and play or have played at the collegiate level.  Non- professional coaching staff will take our Child Abuse Preventon Training course prior to camp.
  9. What is the difference between a day camp and an overnight camp?
    The day camps are more economical and are good in comparison to what is being offered in the basketball world, whereas the overnight camp is more in-depth and inclusive and allows for more uninterrupted “mind” time to focus on each session. The overnight camps offer 3 sessions of instruction and play as opposed to 2 in the day camp.

  11. In the overnight camp, who will my son/daughter room with?
    They are allowed to room with whomever they like. Roommates are assigned prior to camp. All unassigned campers will be assigned during camp check in on site. There are usually two to a room and four to a suite.
  12. How much spending money do I need for the overnight camp?
    All camp essentials are paid for in the tuition fee. Campers have the option to buy pizza for late dinner and use campus vending machines. All camps sell merchandise throughout the week at the camp shop.
